Jackson and his little preschool class and his music/chapel teachers worked SO very hard to rehearse their Christmas musical songs for their Christmas performance. I have to say I was very impressed by their singing and remember all their choreography! They wore their pajamas as the title of the performance was "Twas the Night before Christmas". Jackson was a ham but stayed in his spot and listened and made sure he waved to me when he saw me and Jeff! :) That's my boy!
Here are some photos and I think I have some video as well! Enjoy!

They were taking their class pictures, such cute kiddos!
Another Cheese smile my sweet boy!
The Kids in his class were asked what they liked most about Christmas time and Jackson's was 'Look at christmas lights'! They did a little slide show it was so cute!
More singing!

Thanksgiving Week 2010
So it's time to play catch up on the blog. I've been going and going it feels like and haven't had a time or felt like there was a time to update on all the events that are our glorious life! :)
In any case we just laid low for the most part with a couple of trips here and there since Jeff was off on vacation but really just kind of hung out and took it easy.
We did go to the Ft Worth Stockyards and that was a fun time. Jackson got to ride on his first real pony and had a blast! Funny thing was is he was initially obsessed with riding on the rides that take money instead of the real ponies! I finally convinced him (and Jeff) that it would be a fun memory for him to ride along with the rest of the little kids on the pony rides that this family had going on by the stockyards. They were charging 5.00 per ride that lasted around 10 minutes and Jackson just thought it was the best thing yet! Of course I have PLENTY of pictures to go with this experience along with video, I'll just have to figure out HOW to load the video on the blog.
In any case enjoy the pictures and the continued updates!
Update:
Ok SO I think I figured out how to upload videos but for some reason it says it's not working to try again later, if I try again later and it's not working I'll have netboy aka Jeff check it out!

A Day at the Arboretum
Today I decided to take Jackson to run around at the arboretum b/c it was such a beautiful day and our friends were headed out there. He had a blast as usual and got incredibly worn out and tired, it was a fun day. Jeff was working half day today so we got out of his "hair" in the morning and enjoyed the day.
Enjoy the pics!

We kept hearing all day from Jackson about wanting this new toy and that new toy. Well I finally decided in order to distract..err deter him from asking about every.single.thing we saw at the store on Sunday that he just HAD TO HAVE I told him the only way he was going to get ANYTHING from this point on until Christmas was to sit on Santa's lap and ask the big man..LOL!
I knew that would stop him in his tracks, however, it actually backfired on me!! He said OK MOM, where's SANTA?!? UGH.
I thought well he won't want to go see him as he'll still be scared, nope. not this year! He's a "big kid" now so he was ready and willing to go sit on Santa's lap and tell him he wanted a gun, a blue sword and preferably some shoot 'em up game he can play on Wii that he's seen Jeff play on his computer.
We ended up going to the Village in Allen and visited the Santa we have been to since Jackson was 9 mos. We got right in as we were there at 2pm on a Sunday afternoon, the night after Santa officially "arrived". We were the second ones in line and right before our turn he looked at me and said "mom I'm not scared of Santa he's nice". I said of course Santa's nice he brings you toys you ask for Jackson! He agreed and it was our turn. He went right up and gave Santa a high five and sat on his lap and froze initially but then said Santa I want a blue sword. Santa replied, "like Star Wars?" Jackson's eyes were mesmerized and showed his shock and awe of Santa's knowledge of Star Wars! Santa was that much cooler suddenly in Jackson's eyes for he knew what Star Wars was and it was all cool now. He got a great picture and gave Santa a hug got down and screamed out MOM! I sat on Santa's lap and told him what I wanted!! I said yes I saw you Jackson, daddy and I heard you! He said OK mom, I'm ready for my blue sword now...ugh. I guess maybe next year he'll really get how Santa operates. lol! Oh well can't complain at least there were no tears this year and he sat willingly even with his John Deere tshirt and all, hey at least it was Christmas green!! :)
FYI this is a pic of the real pic. I took it with my cell phone so sorry it isn't the clearest!

We are friends with the quarterback's parents of the Allen High School football team here in Allen, TX. They invited us to go and see their son play in the Dallas Cowboys Stadium in Arlington this past weekend. It was as awesome as we imagined it was and HUGE! We accidentally took a tour just trying to find where our friends were seated. LOL!
In any case, Allen lost by 2points but it was a fantastic game, SO close and Alec did wonderfully at quarterback! We can't wait to see what the team does next year!
Here are some pics I took it really was so amazing in person and the seats were so cush, even on the third tier where we sat!
Jeff and Jackson in front of the Tom Landry statue!
The Allen Flag running across the end zone after a touchdown
Just took a pic of the end zone as a good memory
The Allen football team on the megatron
As our friend Dave said we came all the way to the stadium to watch the TV at the stadium! LOL but it's so big and clear it's hard not to watch it instead of the live action on the field...
Weekend in Austin November 13-14
So, we went to Austin to see the family and also to enjoy a wedding for Jeff's cousin in Wimberley, TX.
Jeff and I had two great date nights! On Friday night when we arrived in town we had free tickets from my dad to see Alan Jackson! What an AWESOME show he put on, we loved it!
Then a surprise on the way home from the wedding in Wimberley my dad called and said he two extra tickets to see George Lopez in a suite on saturday night. We decided that we should take advantage and go see him! What a fun weekend and as you can tell from the pictures below Jackson had just as much fun with his cousins and grandparents!!

The Wedding in Wimberley was a Hindu wedding as Jeff's cousin Michael married a Hindu girl Meera. The wedding was very colorful and definitely an experience. Here are some pictures of the traditional Hindu wedding it was a beautiful day for an outdoor wedding!

Halloween 2010
October 31, 2010
Tonight Jackson was SOOO excited to participate in trick or treating. He knew he was getting candy (chocolate bars) and getting to hang with his friends and neighbors. He was already practicing what to say when approaching each door with his dad. Jackson would open the front door and Jeff would ring our doorbell and Jackson would answer. Jeff would say trick or treat and Jackson would hand Jeff a chocolate bar. It was so sweet. One of those type of memories that I for sure wanted to document b/c I know he won't EVER believe us when we tell him how he was at 3.5. :)
He was also very matter of fact about not wanting to scare people when he put down his ironman mask. He would lift up his mask and say trick or treat while practicing. However, he was waaaay to excited during the real thing and left his mask down, fortunately he didn't scare too many people away and they graciously filled up his ironman basket. His dad is very happy. :)
Overall we had a fun halloween with our neighbors who hosted their 2nd annual chili fest at their house and of course had a tv outside for us to watch the Rangers play the 4th game in the world series. Unfortunately, they lost, but overall a great and fun night was had by all.
Of course as always, please enjoy the pics!!
OH and PS. I was able to make it to church this morning and it was SO refreshing. I REALLY missed it and will be going back!!! :)
Nice and comfy...really I think it was the Rangers who put him to sleep
All tuckered out..
A shot w/o the mask
Couldn't get to the houses fast enough!

Checking out ironman..again.
All 3 finally looking at the camera!
Still looking at Jackson
Batman didn't believe that Ironman was Jackson and kept trying to take his mask off!!
So funny!

Friday's friends...
Friday October 29, 2010
Today we were supposed to go out to the Flower Mound pumpkin patch again with our friends and neighbors. However, when we woke up we realized the weather was only in the 40's and thought we should change plans, no reason to freeze! We ended up going out to my friends church and her twin sons school. It's here in Frisco and free! We pulled up and ended up being the only ones there as it didn't open until 1 and it was only 10:30! Oh well, we pulled it off by making it a chance to get some last minute fall pictures by ourselves and let the boys run off their energy!
Here are some shots we took of course! Enjoy!
More hay fighting!
